(First Communicant's Name), may the Lord Jesus touch your ears to receive His Word, and your mouth to proclaim His Faith. may you come with joy to His Supper with the praise and glory of God. Amen. |

Details about First Communion Celebrations
Attire: Boys -- dark pants, white or light-colored dress shirt and tie (no jackets or vests, please), dark socks, dress shoes Girls -- white or pastel dress (not long- please hem, if needed); veil or other head piece is optional, dress shoes (no gloves) Seating: Seating is only reserved for the immediate family of the first communicant, therefore please encourage guests to arrive early. Immediate family is defined as parents, first communicant, and siblings of the first communicant. No flash photography during liturgy - In order to preserve the solemnity of the occasion, please do not use flash cameras and only video record from your seats. Please remind your guests of this. At this time, no professional photography will be provided. Practices for the First Communion liturgies are as follows: First Communion Mass (Practice Time on Sat., May 18) For 5:00p mass 9:30 am For 9:30a mass 10:15 am Banners: We ask each First Communicant to make a banner using felt we will give out. Instructions will be included. |
